Our history

  

I’m Nishi Ayer — an executive coach, leadership advisor, and former global talent executive with more than 25 years of experience developing leaders and shaping high-performing teams across four continents (North America, Europe, Asia and Africa). My purpose is simple: to help leaders lead with clarity, courage, and consciousness — turning everyday pressures into opportunities for growth and meaningful impact.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with senior executives, newly promoted leaders, and leadership teams in complex global environments. I bring the perspective of someone who has sat on both sides of the table — as a corporate talent leader driving enterprise-wide transformation and now as a trusted coach guiding leaders through pivotal transitions. My clients tell me that what makes our work different is the balance of strategic acumen and human depth — a partnership that is both data-driven and deeply personal.


A Career Built on Cross-Cultural Leadership and Organizational Impact

Before founding True Caliber Consulting, I held senior roles at The LEGO Group, GE, Alstom Power and Deloitte Consulting, where I led global talent strategies, post-merger integrations, and leadership development programs that spanned multiple regions. Earlier, I built and scaled Lebone HR Consulting, my own leadership and HR advisory firm in South Africa, where I worked with CEOs and executives across industries to align human capital strategies with business outcomes.

These experiences — across Fortune-100 organizations, startups, and nonprofits — shaped my conviction that effective leadership is not about titles or tactics; it’s about self-awareness, purpose, and the ability to mobilize others toward a shared vision.


My Coaching Philosophy

I believe leadership growth is most powerful when it integrates three dimensions:

1. Mindset– cultivating the self-awareness and resilience to navigate uncertainty.

2. Behavior– translating insight into consistent, visible action.

3. Organizational context – understanding how systems, culture, and stakeholders shape leadership impact.

My coaching is more consultative and grounded in behavioral science and informed by ICF-aligned methodologies, using assessments and qualitative insights to reveal patterns that accelerate transformation. I create a psychologically safe yet challenging space where leaders can explore blind spots, redefine success, and anchor new habits that endure.
